Our food and beverage team has made positive changes in the lodge outlets such as re-opening DC's Bar & Restaurant to offer a full lunch and dinner menu including soups and salads.ĭecember 2019 saw a mild weather pattern return to the mid-Atlantic which did prohibit Wisp from making snow however, our Mountain Operations Team was able to take advantage of early season cold weather to build a base on the slopes to last through it. We do strive to keep our departments informed of any changes so they can relay the information to guests. The slope report is updated each morning with the current conditions and it is possible that as the day progresses, those conditions are subject to change. It was also easy to get a same-day tee time at Fantasy Valley Golf Course. While the apparatus was sprayed each use, it didn't have time to dry and did not have enough of an "antiseptic odor" nor sufficient drying time to convince me it was adequately sanitized. There was hand sanitizer available for public use. There are signs everywhere that masks are required on all outdoor activities. Staff were wearing masks and the ticket area was well marked for social-distancing. Be sure to check the website before heading out. For 2020, the longer course is not open and the mountain coaster/park is only open Wednesdays thru Sundays according to their website. The varying levels of ropes courses are challenging enough for all ages. The mountain coaster is a fantastic ride.
The cost was pricey but worth it for the memories and the smiles. Excellent summer activities for all ages.
